I've had these two ferrets since 2005. They are family friendly, however, one likes to play with your toes a little too rough. He never bites out of aggression or when handling, ever. Just likes to get you to play with him by attacking your toes like a kitten would. They are roughly 4-5 years old with lots of spunk. I can longer offer them the time they deserve and it breaks my heart. Their names are Rufus and Bandit. Rufus I took in from a family who couldn't keep him back in 05. The little girl named him and the name fits him perfectly. Bandit I got when he was a baby, he is litter box trained and knows tricks as well. He is my baby and I am sad to even consider about letting him go, but he deserves more play time and affection. They have a very large, roughly 6 foot cage that is sturdy metal and large swing doors and matts for easy cleaning, hammocks, 7 litter pans (I alternate the use of them), toys, water dish, food dish...a long play tunnel, leashes, litter, food, ferret shampoo, ferret deodorizer and more. Everything you need to keep a ferret. I will only give them to a good home. Preferably a family that can make sure they are well cared for. No young kids. Although they are friendly, young children don't always handle pets properly and they are not used to being handled roughly. You must know how to take care of ferrets. I will make sure you do ;) Rufus is not well litter pan trained. He is a bit older than Bandit and his previous owners failed to teach him. He has not fully grasped the concept. I find that making sure he goes to the bathroom before letting him out to play solves the problem. Bandit on the other hand, will run across the house to get to the litter pan. If you have any questions please let me know. If you decide they are right for you, you are responsible for picking them up along with their belongings. I wouldn't recommend taking the cage apart as it's a lot of screws and I no longer have the directions...a truck would do fine. I am however, willing to ship the cage myself for a small fee if i believe you are the right home. Feel free to ask questions. Thanks!
