Duck - Large - Adult - Male - Bird - Jack Frost
Description
Jack Frost came to us following a call from Animal Control. We caught him in someone's back yard and he was in terrible shape. It appears that he probably belonged to someone with a free-range flock and was driven off by other males (since he was missing a lot of feathers around the back of his neck). Jack also had frostbite on his face and webbed feet. He was not in good health when he came to us, but he is looking good today! His frostbite is all cleared up and his feathers have grown in nicely. Jack is a good looking boy these days! He is still very shy though and will need some time and TLC in his new home. As with all of our adoptions, no free-range homes need apply. Jack has had enough free-range for a lifetime. He needs a new home with a predator proof pen and a nice shelter to retire in at night, so he will not ever have to feel the chill of frost again.
